Narrative:
Air carrier X airline practices a most unsafe noise abatement climb out of dca with its B727's. Today the 'lawyer' talking on air carrier X to ord damn near had another departure runup his (bleep). My job is to pry them apart. Tower controller didn't take into account air carrier X's (slow) performance and launched another departure 'right up this guys (bleep). 20 yrs experience has shown me that the quickest and most succinct way to get these guys moving is to use the phrase 'clean it up and go fast there's traffic departing right behind you.' sure the phraseology isn't covered by anyone's manual but it works! This driver wants to question my phraseology meanwhile he's almost getting run over from behind. What's TCASII doing? This situation happens at dca all the time with air carrier Y B727's to stl and air carrier X B727's to ord. Read your own data. Air carrier X drivers say it's dangerous if they 'lose' one as another B727 pilot told me today it's gonna get ugly. How can you effectively provide service when 1 or 2 companies make their guys do something totally different than the rest? Oh yea, this (bleep) thought if he heard the magic word 'expedite' his (bleep) was covered. If I'd been asleep his (bleep) very well may have been...by a white sheet.
