Narrative:
While departing from txwys C and west at sjc, we were cleared to depart as a CE150 was on short final to runway 29, immediately adjacent to txwys C and west. Due to the close proximity of runway 29 and the cessna on final, I was forced to deviate toward runway 30L and make a vertical climb into the shaded area of the ht-velocity diagram for my aircraft (sk 58T). Takeoff clearance should have been canceled, as I could not see how far the CE150 was behind me.

Title: CAPT OF A SIKORSKY HELI S58T TOOK EVASIVE ACTION BY MAKING A VERT CLB AND SIDESTEPPING TO AVOID A CESSNA 150 ON FINAL RIGHT OVER THE TOP OF THE AREA IN WHICH THE RPTR HAD BEEN CLRED BY THE TWR FOR TKOF. NMAC.
Narrative: WHILE DEPARTING FROM TXWYS C AND W AT SJC, WE WERE CLRED TO DEPART AS A CE150 WAS ON SHORT FINAL TO RWY 29, IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO TXWYS C AND W. DUE TO THE CLOSE PROX OF RWY 29 AND THE CESSNA ON FINAL, I WAS FORCED TO DEVIATE TOWARD RWY 30L AND MAKE A VERT CLB INTO THE SHADED AREA OF THE HT-VELOCITY DIAGRAM FOR MY ACFT (SK 58T). TKOF CLRNC SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELED, AS I COULD NOT SEE HOW FAR THE CE150 WAS BEHIND ME.
