Narrative:
Passing through 13000 ft on the sunss 1 arrival our TCASII gave an RA followed rapidly by a TA. We started a 30 degree bank (left) and climb. ZAB called the traffic. Shortly thereafter center asked about the assigned radial, we stated we were left of course due to the RA. Center said they would tell approach control of the deviation and that we would be high at the crossing restr. About this time the flight attendant called complaining about the pull-up, distracting us more with the noise (radio) and traffic distraction, we leveled off at 10000 ft instead of assigned 11000 ft. Center asked about our altitude and then passed us to approach control. Nothing was said about our altitude deviation from center. As we descended through 11000 ft (assigned altitude) the altitude alerter was not heard.

Title: FLC RECEIVED TCASII ALERT RESULTING IN OVERSHOOTING ALTDEV OF 1000 FT. 30 DEG L BANK RESULTED IN COMPLAINT FROM CABIN OF SHARP TURN, DISTRACTING FLC FROM MONITORING THE ACFT.
Narrative: PASSING THROUGH 13000 FT ON THE SUNSS 1 ARR OUR TCASII GAVE AN RA FOLLOWED RAPIDLY BY A TA. WE STARTED A 30 DEG BANK (L) AND CLB. ZAB CALLED THE TFC. SHORTLY THEREAFTER CTR ASKED ABOUT THE ASSIGNED RADIAL, WE STATED WE WERE L OF COURSE DUE TO THE RA. CTR SAID THEY WOULD TELL APCH CTL OF THE DEV AND THAT WE WOULD BE HIGH AT THE XING RESTR. ABOUT THIS TIME THE FLT ATTENDANT CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PULL-UP, DISTRACTING US MORE WITH THE NOISE (RADIO) AND TFC DISTR, WE LEVELED OFF AT 10000 FT INSTEAD OF ASSIGNED 11000 FT. CTR ASKED ABOUT OUR ALT AND THEN PASSED US TO APCH CTL. NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT OUR ALTDEV FROM CTR. AS WE DSNDED THROUGH 11000 FT (ASSIGNED ALT) THE ALT ALERTER WAS NOT HEARD.
