Narrative:

I was operating an agusta 109C twin turbine helicopter on a far part 135 operation. With 2 passenger onboard and at 500 ft MSL at 8 mi north of mvy airport, I requested a special VFR clearance to land at mvy, ATIS 500 ft broken 7 mi visibility was current. The controller advised a 5 min delay and to remain clear of class D airspace. During this hold the ATIS reported few at 500 ft visibility 7 mi the field was VFR. I requested clearance to land. I was told to report a 3 mi right base to final runway 24. I reported my position. The tower did not have me in sight. I was instructed to report rollout to final runway 24. I did and the tower still did not have me visual, I was displaying a landing light. The controller who is the acting tower supervisor became increasingly upset as I continued my approach because of his inability to see my aircraft. I landed the aircraft and requested to talk to the tower controller but was denied access. This is an obvious case of overloaded or incompetent ATC handling and unprofessional behavior. As a professional pilot I refuse to tolerate this treatment by ATC.

Narrative: I WAS OPERATING AN AGUSTA 109C TWIN TURBINE HELI ON A FAR PART 135 OP. WITH 2 PAX ONBOARD AND AT 500 FT MSL AT 8 MI N OF MVY ARPT, I REQUESTED A SPECIAL VFR CLRNC TO LAND AT MVY, ATIS 500 FT BROKEN 7 MI VISIBILITY WAS CURRENT. THE CTLR ADVISED A 5 MIN DELAY AND TO REMAIN CLR OF CLASS D AIRSPACE. DURING THIS HOLD THE ATIS RPTED FEW AT 500 FT VISIBILITY 7 MI THE FIELD WAS VFR. I REQUESTED CLRNC TO LAND. I WAS TOLD TO RPT A 3 MI R BASE TO FINAL RWY 24. I RPTED MY POS. THE TWR DID NOT HAVE ME IN SIGHT. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO RPT ROLLOUT TO FINAL RWY 24. I DID AND THE TWR STILL DID NOT HAVE ME VISUAL, I WAS DISPLAYING A LNDG LIGHT. THE CTLR WHO IS THE ACTING TWR SUPVR BECAME INCREASINGLY UPSET AS I CONTINUED MY APCH BECAUSE OF HIS INABILITY TO SEE MY ACFT. I LANDED THE ACFT AND REQUESTED TO TALK TO THE TWR CTLR BUT WAS DENIED ACCESS. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS CASE OF OVERLOADED OR INCOMPETENT ATC HANDLING AND UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. AS A PROFESSIONAL PLT I REFUSE TO TOLERATE THIS TREATMENT BY ATC.
