Narrative:
Bos conducting land/hold short operations to runway 15R hold short of runway 9/27. ATIS wind reported 120 degrees at 6 KTS. On short final tower reported wind as 030 degrees at 8 KTS for 4 KT tailwind. During approach a large thunderstorm had been observed radar and visually directly over the missed approach route. Elected to continue to landing as safer than going around into a thunderstorm.

Narrative: BOS CONDUCTING LAND/HOLD SHORT OPS TO RWY 15R HOLD SHORT OF RWY 9/27. ATIS WIND RPTED 120 DEGS AT 6 KTS. ON SHORT FINAL TWR RPTED WIND AS 030 DEGS AT 8 KTS FOR 4 KT TAILWIND. DURING APCH A LARGE TSTM HAD BEEN OBSERVED RADAR AND VISUALLY DIRECTLY OVER THE MISSED APCH RTE. ELECTED TO CONTINUE TO LNDG AS SAFER THAN GOING AROUND INTO A TSTM.
