Narrative:
While taking off from hidden lake, an unidented aircraft came across the front of my aircraft from my right to left and began to dive directly at me, causing me to take evasive action to avoid a collision. After collision avoidance, I tried to stay behind the other aircraft to keep him in sight, but the harder I tried to keep him in sight, the harder he tried to stay behind me. We circled for at least three 360 degree turns before he finally broke away. After flying straight and a ways, I decided to attempt to fly alongside him so I could obtain his tail number from a safe distance. The entire time that all of this was happening, I was trying to contact the other aircraft on frequency 122.9 but he was not answering. After getting his tail number, I flew past him and returned to base.
