Narrative:

After signing the release in a new operations location, I neglected to leave a copy of the signed release with local station operations. The papers were in a remote area away from station personnel and the secluded area possibly could be the reason I forgot to leave a copy. There were no modification to the release for that leg, and subsequent changes to future legs were verbally given to the dispatcher after arrival at lax.
