Narrative:
I was told to open a radar position. The scope's map was very dim and unusable with map gain maximum'ed out. Moved to another scope. This scope had no primary on the blv side. When switched to stl site we had no radar at all! Had to move to third scope.

Title: CTLR ATTEMPTED TO OPEN A RADAR POS AND WAS FINALLY SUCCESSFUL ON THE THIRD DISPLAY (SCOPE) AFTER THE FIRST 2 WERE FOUND WITH DEFICIENCIES PRECLUDING THEIR OPS USE.
Narrative: I WAS TOLD TO OPEN A RADAR POS. THE SCOPE'S MAP WAS VERY DIM AND UNUSABLE WITH MAP GAIN MAX'ED OUT. MOVED TO ANOTHER SCOPE. THIS SCOPE HAD NO PRIMARY ON THE BLV SIDE. WHEN SWITCHED TO STL SITE WE HAD NO RADAR AT ALL! HAD TO MOVE TO THIRD SCOPE.
