Narrative:
The ASR-9 radar failed this morning at mci international airport. We were unable to bring up cenrap (the backup radar system because it was also out). This is the second radar outage in the past 2 weeks. Appears to be happening more frequently.

Title: CTLR AT MCI RPTS AN ASR-9 RADAR FAILURE AND STATES THAT CENRAP WAS NOT OPERATIONAL.
Narrative: THE ASR-9 RADAR FAILED THIS MORNING AT MCI INTL ARPT. WE WERE UNABLE TO BRING UP CENRAP (THE BACKUP RADAR SYS BECAUSE IT WAS ALSO OUT). THIS IS THE SECOND RADAR OUTAGE IN THE PAST 2 WKS. APPEARS TO BE HAPPENING MORE FREQUENTLY.
