Narrative:
We were cleared for visual approach to runway 25L, traffic called as 2 helicopters 'low level' just off to the left of centerline. At about 1500 ft AGL, I saw one cross our bow, then saw another pass opposite direct to our left. Got a TCASII RA on the second one, I complained to the tower but was told 'that's why we point them out to you so you can disregard the TCASII.' I told him we are required to follow the TCASII even if we see the traffic.
