Narrative:
While taxiing out for takeoff at mia, ramp control called us and advised us we were overweight for taxi. A form was sent before gate departure and we returned to the gate. Upon gate arrival we calculated we were 238 pounds over maximum taxi weight because of incorrect child count. Overweight taxi inspection per MM was accomplished and the flight departed.
