Narrative:
Crew departed dfw with an invalid ATC clearance. A clearance for another flight was received over ACARS. We realized our mistake during initial climb and received the correct clearance. This incident shows the need to not rush during checklists.

Title: B727 RECEIVED CLRNC VIA ACARS THAT WAS MEANT FOR ANOTHER ACFT.
Narrative: CREW DEPARTED DFW WITH AN INVALID ATC CLRNC. A CLRNC FOR ANOTHER FLT WAS RECEIVED OVER ACARS. WE REALIZED OUR MISTAKE DURING INITIAL CLB AND RECEIVED THE CORRECT CLRNC. THIS INCIDENT SHOWS THE NEED TO NOT RUSH DURING CHKLISTS.
