Narrative:
We were FL280, ZTL called traffic at 12 O'clock (learjet) descending to FL290. No visual on traffic. Few mins later we got a TCASII RA to 'descend.' no visual -- we deviated to 27400 ft. Conflict resolved. Closest point of approach with learjet was 500 ft on TCASII. We never visually saw him. Location of event: 20 NM south vuz.
