Narrative:
The occurrence was pertaining to the preparation of the weight and balance manifest with our cargo carrying system. We apparently exceeded a floor loading limitation by approximately 1000 pounds. The air carrier's cargo manifest is an extremely complicated document, which is very difficult to catch errors. During training when I was trained on this weight document we were taught to focus our attention on the fuel slope and weight computation. Example: zero fuel weight and gross takeoff weight. The document is actually prepared by our load master, and the load master signs it to guarantee its accuracy. As so's we were taught that the load master would prepare the document and to just look for anything that would stick out. Better training for so's as well as capts should be implemented so that they understand the document better and hopefully catch those kinds of errors. As a result the captain didn't catch the error either and we flew the aircraft to anc with an exceeded floor loading limit.

Title: DC10 IS FLOWN WITH EXCESSIVE CARGO FLOOR LOADING.
Narrative: THE OCCURRENCE WAS PERTAINING TO THE PREPARATION OF THE WT AND BAL MANIFEST WITH OUR CARGO CARRYING SYS. WE APPARENTLY EXCEEDED A FLOOR LOADING LIMITATION BY APPROX 1000 LBS. THE ACR'S CARGO MANIFEST IS AN EXTREMELY COMPLICATED DOCUMENT, WHICH IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CATCH ERRORS. DURING TRAINING WHEN I WAS TRAINED ON THIS WT DOCUMENT WE WERE TAUGHT TO FOCUS OUR ATTN ON THE FUEL SLOPE AND WT COMPUTATION. EXAMPLE: ZERO FUEL WT AND GROSS TKOF WT. AS A RESULT THE CAPT DIDN'T CATCH THE ERROR EITHER AND WE FLEW THE ACFT TO ANC WITH AN EXCEEDED FLOOR LOADING LIMIT.
