Narrative:
Shortly after rotation we felt and heard bumping sounds and saw right engine EPR surging and other engine indications fluctuating considerably. We declared an emergency and secured the engine using the engine fire/severe damage or separation checklist. We came around VMC and landed. Supplemental information from acn 349453: we also smelled smoke.
