Narrative:
Cleared into position and hold runway 27R mia. First officer acknowledged. Turned on taxi light and began to move forward when I noticed a business jet taking the runway from the opposite taxiway facing us so I stopped immediately and had the first officer verify our clearance. The other aircraft was correct. Tower asked if we had crossed the hold short line which we had by about 5 ft. As we were not interfering with the business jet's takeoff, tower let us stay where we were and we departed after the business jet. Call signs were similar and the first officer's confirmation of the original clearance must have been exactly on top of the business jet's readback, as tower did not catch our mistake.
