Narrative:
I landed at dwh airport. I taxied off the main runway. I called ground after switching from tower. Ground told me I had just crossed an active runway. I looked around and only saw what appeared to be txwys. I looked at the approach plates and noted the taxiway I was near was actually a runway. The runway was more narrow than the taxiway I was on which was also small. The runway did not look like a runway. I need to look at the approach diagram of the airport more carefully before landing. I had never been to this airport before. I was in a hurry to get off the main runway due to traffic on close final behind me.
