Narrative:
Aircraft control was swapped for approximately 10 mins, navaids tuned for first officer to fly. When control swapped back to captain, he did not retune his VOR to las for the crowe arrival. During descent, captain turned early and intercepted 255 degree pgs radial instead of las. No traffic conflict was noted on TCASII or advised by the tower.

Title: CAPT OF A B737-300 FAILED TO RETUNE HIS VOR NAVAID RESULTING IN TURNING EARLY ON TO THE WRONG TRACK DURING A STAR ARR RTE.
Narrative: ACFT CTL WAS SWAPPED FOR APPROX 10 MINS, NAVAIDS TUNED FOR FO TO FLY. WHEN CTL SWAPPED BACK TO CAPT, HE DID NOT RETUNE HIS VOR TO LAS FOR THE CROWE ARR. DURING DSCNT, CAPT TURNED EARLY AND INTERCEPTED 255 DEG PGS RADIAL INSTEAD OF LAS. NO TFC CONFLICT WAS NOTED ON TCASII OR ADVISED BY THE TWR.
