Narrative:
Going into ads we were given the glenn rose 1 arrival. It changed to the knead 1 arrival, back to the glenn rose 1, and then direct to knead intersection direct ads, and apparently the controller thought we were going knead intersection and then finish the arrival. Somewhere in all the confusion we passed an intersection where we were supposed to turn at and continued direct ads. The controller gave us a turn after we had passed it and asked why we missed it. We told him we thought we were cleared direct ads. He said he would check with the previous controller about it. This could have been avoided if possibly we had not changed so many times. I felt that the readback was direct knead direct ads but was never corrected. Maybe since it was all new to controllers and myself also added to the confusion since dallas had changed all the arrs, just 10 days prior.

Title: CLRNC INTERP DISPUTED LEADS TO A HDG TRACK POS DEV BY AN SMT PLT.
Narrative: GOING INTO ADS WE WERE GIVEN THE GLENN ROSE 1 ARR. IT CHANGED TO THE KNEAD 1 ARR, BACK TO THE GLENN ROSE 1, AND THEN DIRECT TO KNEAD INTXN DIRECT ADS, AND APPARENTLY THE CTLR THOUGHT WE WERE GOING KNEAD INTXN AND THEN FINISH THE ARR. SOMEWHERE IN ALL THE CONFUSION WE PASSED AN INTXN WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO TURN AT AND CONTINUED DIRECT ADS. THE CTLR GAVE US A TURN AFTER WE HAD PASSED IT AND ASKED WHY WE MISSED IT. WE TOLD HIM WE THOUGHT WE WERE CLRED DIRECT ADS. HE SAID HE WOULD CHK WITH THE PREVIOUS CTLR ABOUT IT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF POSSIBLY WE HAD NOT CHANGED SO MANY TIMES. I FELT THAT THE READBACK WAS DIRECT KNEAD DIRECT ADS BUT WAS NEVER CORRECTED. MAYBE SINCE IT WAS ALL NEW TO CTLRS AND MYSELF ALSO ADDED TO THE CONFUSION SINCE DALLAS HAD CHANGED ALL THE ARRS, JUST 10 DAYS PRIOR.
