Narrative:

ATC told us to intercept V143 (mrb 065 degree radial). After a while, showing needle centered, ATC verified we were to intercept V143 and told us we were off course and to re- intercept on a 280 degree heading. I told him we were showing centerline and asked how far off he showed us. He stated 4 mi, increasing. I then asked for vectors to remain on airway. The captain decided not to write up the navs (they were within dual VOR test limits). At worst case, our vors showed only 1 1/2 - 2 mi off course.

Title: BAE3201 ACFT, IN DSCNT, WAS SHOWING THE AIRWAY ON COURSE, BUT CTLR TOLD THEM THEY WERE 4 MI FROM CTRLINE. RPTR FO SAYS THAT THEIR VORS WERE WITHIN LIMITS DURING DUAL VOR CHK FOR ACCURACY.
