Narrative:
Int to int. Total time: 1 hour 52 mins. This maintenance test flight experienced multiple flight control problems following major overhaul on airframe. In descent, a quick check of relight ability was commenced during a controled shutdown and relight. 1 engine required starter motor assist and successful relight was accomplished. All control surface discrepancies were recorded in maintenance log and repaired. Weak start system and attempt inadvertently failed to become a write-up in logbook. Additional test flight proved successful and aircraft released on passenger flight to jax. PIC remembered start attempt problem while driving home from test hop and immediately system control center was notified along with B737-300 flight manager and FAA. Aircraft was removed from line operation and repaired and released within 20 hours.
