Narrative:
Air carrier B asked if we knew of any fireworks in the area. Controller said none that we were aware of. Aircraft said he had a streak pass from left to right from under the aircraft. It looked like a large firecracker. This incident occurred the same place where air carrier X exploded!

Title: ACR PLT RPTED A FIREBALL LIKE A LARGE FIRECRACKER PASSED BENEATH HIS ACFT FROM L TO R. ZBW CTLR KNEW OF NO FIREWORKS ACTIVITY NEAR HIS FLT PATH. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED NEAR THE SAME AREA THAT A FLT MYSTERIOUSLY EXPLODED.
Narrative: ACR B ASKED IF WE KNEW OF ANY FIREWORKS IN THE AREA. CTLR SAID NONE THAT WE WERE AWARE OF. ACFT SAID HE HAD A STREAK PASS FROM L TO R FROM UNDER THE ACFT. IT LOOKED LIKE A LARGE FIRECRACKER. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED THE SAME PLACE WHERE ACR X EXPLODED!
