Narrative:
ATC advised that I was south of course and was directed to turn to 080 degree heading to reintercept V186. Both navigation receivers on board were properly tuned to vny 095 degree radial and both indicators were centered, indicating that we were tracking the airway. Subsequent operation and vot check showed intolerance operation of both receivers. Subsequent discussion of this event with other pilots revealed that they had similar experiences on same airway in same location.
