Narrative:
While at cruise the #1 flight attendant advised us that a passenger had complained of chest pains. Passenger 62 yrs old. I advised the flight attendant to inquire about a physician on board. Doctor was on board the aircraft and examined the passenger and used the medical kit, first aid kit, grab and go kit and had some bio-waste all entered in the E-6 log. Ftw dispatch was notified and medical personnel were waiting for us in ord. The doctor informed me that he would monitor the passenger condition, but he now seemed stable to continue the flight of the remaining 50 mins to ord. Oxygen was then given to the passenger and by the crew oxygen bottle. E-6 entry also was made. We requested priority handling to ord from ATC and did receive it. After landing, passenger was escorted by waiting medical personnel. Special thanks to the flight attendant crew who kept us informed at all times and this event went very smoothly with excellent crew communication and coordination.
