Narrative:
Air carrier X departed buf airport eastbound over gee VOR. Small transport Y (muz) and light transport Z (falcon) were both west of buf inbound to iag airport cleared direct. Small transport Y was 7-8 mi in front of light transport Z. Small transport Y was descending from 15000 ft to 11000 ft. Light transport Z was descending from flight levels to 12000 ft. After coordinating with roc controller (who was talking to both small transport Y and light transport Z), I decided to turn air carrier X north of light transport Z. The conflict alert activated between air carrier X and light transport Z. I instructed roc controller to turn light transport Z left to insure separation. Shortly thereafter the conflict alert activated between small transport Y and light transport Z. I turned light transport Z 40 degrees right and tried to establish vertical separation.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN ARTCC RADAR CTLR WORKING AN ACR MD80 CLBING OUT OF BUF COORD WITH ROC APCH CTLR FOR A TURN ON THE MD80 TO MISS A DA10 DSNDING INTO IAG. THERE ALSO WAS AN MU2 IN FRONT OF THE DA10 DSNDING INTO IAG. THE CONFLICT ALERT AT THE ARTCC ACTIVATED ON THE MD80 AND THE DA10 AND RPTR HAD THE DA10 TURNED FOR SEPARATION AND THEN THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED BTWN THE MU2 AND THE DA10. RPTR HAD 2 LTSS OCCURRENCES IN A MATTER OF MINS.
Narrative: ACR X DEPARTED BUF ARPT EBOUND OVER GEE VOR. SMT Y (MUZ) AND LTT Z (FALCON) WERE BOTH W OF BUF INBOUND TO IAG ARPT CLRED DIRECT. SMT Y WAS 7-8 MI IN FRONT OF LTT Z. SMT Y WAS DSNDING FROM 15000 FT TO 11000 FT. LTT Z WAS DSNDING FROM FLT LEVELS TO 12000 FT. AFTER COORDINATING WITH ROC CTLR (WHO WAS TALKING TO BOTH SMT Y AND LTT Z), I DECIDED TO TURN ACR X N OF LTT Z. THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED BTWN ACR X AND LTT Z. I INSTRUCTED ROC CTLR TO TURN LTT Z L TO INSURE SEPARATION. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED BTWN SMT Y AND LTT Z. I TURNED LTT Z 40 DEGS R AND TRIED TO ESTABLISH VERT SEPARATION.
