Narrative:
Location: mia. On passenger loading, 2 male passenger got on drunk. Purser notified me that they probably would be troublesome, and I ordered them off the flight. They became belligerent, and the auths were called for. The airport police came after a while and took them into custody. While being escorted off the plane by agent, she asked them if they had any carry on bags, and the answer was just a quote '*&^%$# bomb,' unquote. We now had to deplane all boarded passenger with their handheld bags until the plane could be properly searched. The search was conducted by mia operations manager and her team, after it was explained that they were adequately trained for this sort of procedure. Had the police conducted the search, it would have taken about 2 hours longer to depart the gate.
