Narrative:
After takeoff, landing gear failed to retract normally. Checklist procedure determined landing gear lever latch solenoid failure. Gear retracted through use of landing gear handle override trigger. Dispatcher concurred with decision to proceed to destination. Landed normally.

Title: B737-400 LEVEL LATCH RELAY FAILED, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RAISE THE LNDG GEAR HANDLE. GEAR WAS RETRACTED USING THE OVERRIDE TRIGGER ON THE GEAR HANDLE. FLT PROCEEDED NORMALLY.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF, LNDG GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT NORMALLY. CHKLIST PROC DETERMINED LNDG GEAR LEVER LATCH SOLENOID FAILURE. GEAR RETRACTED THROUGH USE OF LNDG GEAR HANDLE OVERRIDE TRIGGER. DISPATCHER CONCURRED WITH DECISION TO PROCEED TO DEST. LANDED NORMALLY.
