Narrative:
A gentleman I know from work met me at bur airport with some of his family and friends, for a 1 hour sightseeing flight over the los angeles area. I flew them along my usual route -- through cahuenga pass, left turn to the east, pass in front of hollywood sign and observatory, around dodger stadium, back to cahuenga pass to the sfra, straight to palos verdes and back to bur. The event occurred as I flew through the sfra. As I approached the area, I noticed some scattered clouds in the vicinity. They appeared far enough apart to allow me to fly through the corridor without violating any VFR's, or sfra rules. But as I flew through, it looked like I may have come within less than a 2000 ft horizontal distance of the clouds. It is difficult to judge the distance from clouds.

Title: PVT PLT ON A SIGHTSEEING FLT OF THE LAX AREA. WHILE IN THE SFRA CORRIDOR MAY HAVE COME TOO CLOSE TO CLOUDS.
Narrative: A GENTLEMAN I KNOW FROM WORK MET ME AT BUR ARPT WITH SOME OF HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS, FOR A 1 HR SIGHTSEEING FLT OVER THE LOS ANGELES AREA. I FLEW THEM ALONG MY USUAL RTE -- THROUGH CAHUENGA PASS, L TURN TO THE E, PASS IN FRONT OF HOLLYWOOD SIGN AND OBSERVATORY, AROUND DODGER STADIUM, BACK TO CAHUENGA PASS TO THE SFRA, STRAIGHT TO PALOS VERDES AND BACK TO BUR. THE EVENT OCCURRED AS I FLEW THROUGH THE SFRA. AS I APCHED THE AREA, I NOTICED SOME SCATTERED CLOUDS IN THE VICINITY. THEY APPEARED FAR ENOUGH APART TO ALLOW ME TO FLY THROUGH THE CORRIDOR WITHOUT VIOLATING ANY VFR'S, OR SFRA RULES. BUT AS I FLEW THROUGH, IT LOOKED LIKE I MAY HAVE COME WITHIN LESS THAN A 2000 FT HORIZ DISTANCE OF THE CLOUDS. IT IS DIFFICULT TO JUDGE THE DISTANCE FROM CLOUDS.
