Narrative:
My student and I were the only plane in the pattern and she was having trouble flying the pattern, and especially landing. We never received a clearance to land and I forgot to ask. When her approach went badly after crossing the threshold I took the plane over and landed.

Narrative: MY STUDENT AND I WERE THE ONLY PLANE IN THE PATTERN AND SHE WAS HAVING TROUBLE FLYING THE PATTERN, AND ESPECIALLY LNDG. WE NEVER RECEIVED A CLRNC TO LAND AND I FORGOT TO ASK. WHEN HER APCH WENT BADLY AFTER XING THE THRESHOLD I TOOK THE PLANE OVER AND LANDED.
