Narrative:

We were advised by tower controller of the chandler municipal airport tower that another aircraft (C172RG) had taken evasive action to avoid a bonanza he believed might be my aircraft. Tower called my home about XA00 pm on the day of the incident. He called again the next morning about XB00 am and described the incident mentioned above. Our flight departed falcon field sebound about XC30 am. We called phoenix approach requesting multiple holds at the willie VOR. We then requested to go direct to chandler NDB to perform multiple holds there after which we requested to commence an NDB runway 4R approach. The controller requested that we 'maintain 3500 ft or above to remain clear of chandler's airspace.' we were cleared for lower altitude after we cleared chandler's airspace. The controller requested us to report procedure turn outbound. We reported outbound from the holding pattern and then reported inbound from the procedure turn. Approach told us to contact chandler tower. Our contact with the tower was outside of their traffic area at 2800 ft. Chandler tower requested us to report 2 mi out and asked how the approach was to terminate. We said we were going missed as published. We reported 2 mi out stating we were going missed. We were above 1820 ft. We climbed to 3000 ft contacted phoenix approach in the hold. Approach told us to maintain 3500 ft or below. After a number of holding patterns we requested another approach. Contacted approach and said we were departing for falcon field. We were requested to squawk 1200. We flew north to falcon. At no time did we sight any aircraft that was close to us, nor did the tower ask us to turn to avoid other traffic.

Title: NMAC BTWN A PLT OF A BE36 MAKING PRACTICE APCHS AND HOLDING PATTERNS OUTSIDE OF CLASS D AIRSPACE, AND A C172RG. RPTING PLT OF THE BE36 DID NOT OBSERVE ANY CONFLICTING ACFT, NOR WERE ADVISED OF ANY BY EITHER THE TWR OR APCH CTL.

Narrative: WE WERE ADVISED BY TWR CTLR OF THE CHANDLER MUNICIPAL ARPT TWR THAT ANOTHER ACFT (C172RG) HAD TAKEN EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID A BONANZA HE BELIEVED MIGHT BE MY ACFT. TWR CALLED MY HOME ABOUT XA00 PM ON THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT. HE CALLED AGAIN THE NEXT MORNING ABOUT XB00 AM AND DESCRIBED THE INCIDENT MENTIONED ABOVE. OUR FLT DEPARTED FALCON FIELD SEBOUND ABOUT XC30 AM. WE CALLED PHOENIX APCH REQUESTING MULTIPLE HOLDS AT THE WILLIE VOR. WE THEN REQUESTED TO GO DIRECT TO CHANDLER NDB TO PERFORM MULTIPLE HOLDS THERE AFTER WHICH WE REQUESTED TO COMMENCE AN NDB RWY 4R APCH. THE CTLR REQUESTED THAT WE 'MAINTAIN 3500 FT OR ABOVE TO REMAIN CLR OF CHANDLER'S AIRSPACE.' WE WERE CLRED FOR LOWER ALT AFTER WE CLRED CHANDLER'S AIRSPACE. THE CTLR REQUESTED US TO RPT PROC TURN OUTBOUND. WE RPTED OUTBOUND FROM THE HOLDING PATTERN AND THEN RPTED INBOUND FROM THE PROC TURN. APCH TOLD US TO CONTACT CHANDLER TWR. OUR CONTACT WITH THE TWR WAS OUTSIDE OF THEIR TFC AREA AT 2800 FT. CHANDLER TWR REQUESTED US TO RPT 2 MI OUT AND ASKED HOW THE APCH WAS TO TERMINATE. WE SAID WE WERE GOING MISSED AS PUBLISHED. WE RPTED 2 MI OUT STATING WE WERE GOING MISSED. WE WERE ABOVE 1820 FT. WE CLBED TO 3000 FT CONTACTED PHOENIX APCH IN THE HOLD. APCH TOLD US TO MAINTAIN 3500 FT OR BELOW. AFTER A NUMBER OF HOLDING PATTERNS WE REQUESTED ANOTHER APCH. CONTACTED APCH AND SAID WE WERE DEPARTING FOR FALCON FIELD. WE WERE REQUESTED TO SQUAWK 1200. WE FLEW N TO FALCON. AT NO TIME DID WE SIGHT ANY ACFT THAT WAS CLOSE TO US, NOR DID THE TWR ASK US TO TURN TO AVOID OTHER TFC.
