Narrative:
Z time: XX30Z. Frequency/altitude, ground/ramp. ATC facility: ewr ground/ramp. Location: ewr. Ewr 10-7 admonishes taxi through parking areas lindy or amelia. 10-9 and 10-9B depicts islands between taxiway a and ramp which do not exist as old islands are now paved continuously from ramp to taxiway a. Absence of taxiway boundary lighting, poor ramp markings, make discrimination impossible at night. Needless to say, I taxied right through lindy from taxiway north without incident. Strongly recommend commercial chart company be notified to re-chart the ramp and ICAO standard ramp markings clearly define the no-taxi areas. Else I shall bid elsewhere.
