Narrative:
Aircraft was flared high resulting in excessive pitch and right bank to control wind drift, causing right wingtip to contact runway. Student captain was flying approach and landing. This student captain has not been previously qualified on any narrow body aircraft. It would be my opinion when a student has never flown narrow body aircraft, their simulator training should include at least 1 full period for lndgs.
