Narrative:
On approximately 4 mi final to runway 24L we experienced radio failure. We could not transmit or receive on either VHF radio. Indications were that we had a stuck microphone. Landing clearance had not been received prior to radio failure, so we executed a go around and troubleshot the radios for approximately 20 mins while remaining in VMC north of the airport. We squawked 7600 (lost communication), returned to the field and landed on runway 24L. Although we could not transmit, we heard tower give us landing clearance while on visual final.

Title: AN ACR B757 FLC LOST THE RADIOS ON FINAL APCH AND WENT AROUND. LATER THEY WERE ABLE TO RECEIVE ONLY AND MADE A SUCCESSFUL APCH AND LNDG WHILE SQUAWKING 7600.
Narrative: ON APPROX 4 MI FINAL TO RWY 24L WE EXPERIENCED RADIO FAILURE. WE COULD NOT XMIT OR RECEIVE ON EITHER VHF RADIO. INDICATIONS WERE THAT WE HAD A STUCK MIKE. LNDG CLRNC HAD NOT BEEN RECEIVED PRIOR TO RADIO FAILURE, SO WE EXECUTED A GAR AND TROUBLESHOT THE RADIOS FOR APPROX 20 MINS WHILE REMAINING IN VMC N OF THE ARPT. WE SQUAWKED 7600 (LOST COM), RETURNED TO THE FIELD AND LANDED ON RWY 24L. ALTHOUGH WE COULD NOT XMIT, WE HEARD TWR GIVE US LNDG CLRNC WHILE ON VISUAL FINAL.
