Narrative:
Parachute school at 7a1, attempting to set record for number of drops in a day. During same time, military is conducting major exercise at same airport. I've been in this business 15 yrs, and this is the most potential for a fatality or incident I've seen.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: APCH CTLR STATES THAT A PARACHUTE SCHOOL WAS TRYING TO SET A JUMP RECORD FOR THE NUMBER OF DROPS IN 1 DAY AT THE SAME TIME THE MIL WAS CONDUCTING A MAJOR EXERCISE AT THE SAME ARPT. RPTR THINKS THIS WAS A POTENTIAL HAZARD AND POOR PLANNING ON THE SCHOOL'S PART.
