Narrative:

MOA operations are ctring on mining runways and causing danger to commercial aircraft. They are high speed and very low to ground. A sonic boom flexed the windows of a PA18. Those aircraft do not talk to us directly. Range control sometimes does not answer calls 125.3: example may/xx/97 at XA15. They are not keeping low level runs away from areas we have advised them of frequent operations on a daily basis. There are 2 helicopters and an otter operating there also. I have called captain X and he has not been able to assure me that there will be no more near misses. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: analyst learned from the callback that reporter's company provides service between 6k8 and a mining operations runway which lies in the yukon 1 MOA. Reporter alleges the military aircraft are using the mining runway as a navigation target for their operations and maneuvers. When altitude permits, reporter said that their aircraft will attempt to contact the range control to advise of their position and to find out if there is any traffic in the MOA. Reporter is unsure if the information is given to the military pilots. Asked if there has been any communication correspondence on the matter, the reporter stated that there will be a meeting at the end of the month hosted by the military in which the reporter plans to discuss the problem.

CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: ANALYST LEARNED FROM THE CALLBACK THAT RPTR'S COMPANY PROVIDES SVC BTWN 6K8 AND A MINING OPS RWY WHICH LIES IN THE YUKON 1 MOA. RPTR ALLEGES THE MIL ACFT ARE USING THE MINING RWY AS A NAV TARGET FOR THEIR OPS AND MANEUVERS. WHEN ALT PERMITS, RPTR SAID THAT THEIR ACFT WILL ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE RANGE CTL TO ADVISE OF THEIR POS AND TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANY TFC IN THE MOA. RPTR IS UNSURE IF THE INFO IS GIVEN TO THE MIL PLTS. ASKED IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY COM CORRESPONDENCE ON THE MATTER, THE RPTR STATED THAT THERE WILL BE A MEETING AT THE END OF THE MONTH HOSTED BY THE MIL IN WHICH THE RPTR PLANS TO DISCUSS THE PROB.
