Narrative:

ZOB issued clearance to us 60 mi south of djb at FL260. Read back clearance using air carrier altitude awareness procedures. A little while later we had a frequency change. We checked in to ZOB, air carrier X FL310. ZOB asked if we had a crossing restr, we said yes, 60 mi south of djb at FL260. We started our descent and around FL269 ZOB asked our altitude. We replied, just about to level FL260. ATC said that was fine, but we were only cleared to FL280. We told center we read back the clearance 60 mi south djb FL260 when we checked in with him. He said not a problem just maintain FL260.
