Narrative:
Coast area of sct lost all communications, primary, backup and emergency for 5-10 mins. It appears that all 3 radio system are on the same power supply. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated he filed a ucr on the outage and recently received word that the ucr is open and that problem will continue to be investigated. Reporter indicated that reference was made to a switch in the power supply which might be the problem. Reporter also indicated that no mention was made to separate the frequencys from the same power supply.

Title: RPTR STATES LOST ALL COMS -- PRIMARY, BACKUP AND EMER FOR 5-10 MINS. THE 3 RADIO SYS APPEAR TO BE ON THE SAME PWR SUPPLY.
Narrative: COAST AREA OF SCT LOST ALL COMS, PRIMARY, BACKUP AND EMER FOR 5-10 MINS. IT APPEARS THAT ALL 3 RADIO SYS ARE ON THE SAME PWR SUPPLY. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED HE FILED A UCR ON THE OUTAGE AND RECENTLY RECEIVED WORD THAT THE UCR IS OPEN AND THAT PROB WILL CONTINUE TO BE INVESTIGATED. RPTR INDICATED THAT REF WAS MADE TO A SWITCH IN THE PWR SUPPLY WHICH MIGHT BE THE PROB. RPTR ALSO INDICATED THAT NO MENTION WAS MADE TO SEPARATE THE FREQS FROM THE SAME PWR SUPPLY.
