Narrative:

While climbing to FL290, a loud thump was felt on the left side of the aircraft as it was leaving 28500 ft. All engine and flight instruments were normal. The captain sent me back to check the wing upper surfaces and cabin. A slight vibration was felt around the floor area at seat row xx-yy. The flight proceeded to st louis at FL290 mach .80. A normal approach and landing was made. Maintenance had been notified when in range. When maintenance checked the aircraft, the fixed lower gear door (left side) was missing and some damage to the under side of the wing was noted.

Title: AN ACR WDB ACFT LOST A FIXED LOWER LNDG GEAR DOOR WHILE INFLT.

Narrative: WHILE CLBING TO FL290, A LOUD THUMP WAS FELT ON THE L SIDE OF THE ACFT AS IT WAS LEAVING 28500 FT. ALL ENG AND FLT INSTS WERE NORMAL. THE CAPT SENT ME BACK TO CHK THE WING UPPER SURFACES AND CABIN. A SLIGHT VIBRATION WAS FELT AROUND THE FLOOR AREA AT SEAT ROW XX-YY. THE FLT PROCEEDED TO ST LOUIS AT FL290 MACH .80. A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG WAS MADE. MAINT HAD BEEN NOTIFIED WHEN IN RANGE. WHEN MAINT CHKED THE ACFT, THE FIXED LOWER GEAR DOOR (L SIDE) WAS MISSING AND SOME DAMAGE TO THE UNDER SIDE OF THE WING WAS NOTED.
