Narrative:

After landing at ord runway 14L, we were instructed to taxi to the southwest cargo ramp and stay with tower on frequency 132.70. Entering the cargo area on taxiway K1, we stopped short of the ramp entrance after observing a B747 on the ramp center taxiway at the far end. As the B747 taxied toward us it became apparent his wingtip would not clear our aircraft. The first officer made several calls to the B747 to stop because of lack of clearance between the 2 aircraft. The B747 continued on without acknowledgement of our calls. I placed the aircraft in reverse and backed out of the way as he went by. The B747 left wingtip missed our cockpit window by 10 ft. We asked the tower if he was talking to this aircraft as this was a non movement area. The response was no one had called to taxi. The aircraft in question was later idented as air carrier abc. Supplemental information from acn 371100: we stopped on taxiway K1 with our nose into the taxi lane for the cargo ramp. By this time the B747 was clearly moving toward us. Tried to raise him on 132.7 and get him to stop. No answer. When it became apparent to us that he was going to hit us, the captain put the engines into reverse and backed us out of the way. The B747 deviated to the right of the cargo ramp taxiway and by our reversing, his left wingtip passed within 10 ft of our cockpit. Supplemental information from acn 371181: the first officer radioed a warning to no avail and the captain finally backed up about 25 ft. The other aircraft wing missed our cockpit by 10-15 ft.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG AT ORD RWY 14L, WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO THE SW CARGO RAMP AND STAY WITH TWR ON FREQ 132.70. ENTERING THE CARGO AREA ON TXWY K1, WE STOPPED SHORT OF THE RAMP ENTRANCE AFTER OBSERVING A B747 ON THE RAMP CTR TXWY AT THE FAR END. AS THE B747 TAXIED TOWARD US IT BECAME APPARENT HIS WINGTIP WOULD NOT CLR OUR ACFT. THE FO MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE B747 TO STOP BECAUSE OF LACK OF CLRNC BTWN THE 2 ACFT. THE B747 CONTINUED ON WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUR CALLS. I PLACED THE ACFT IN REVERSE AND BACKED OUT OF THE WAY AS HE WENT BY. THE B747 L WINGTIP MISSED OUR COCKPIT WINDOW BY 10 FT. WE ASKED THE TWR IF HE WAS TALKING TO THIS ACFT AS THIS WAS A NON MOVEMENT AREA. THE RESPONSE WAS NO ONE HAD CALLED TO TAXI. THE ACFT IN QUESTION WAS LATER IDENTED AS ACR ABC. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 371100: WE STOPPED ON TXWY K1 WITH OUR NOSE INTO THE TAXI LANE FOR THE CARGO RAMP. BY THIS TIME THE B747 WAS CLRLY MOVING TOWARD US. THE B747 DEVIATED TO THE R OF THE CARGO RAMP TXWY AND BY OUR REVERSING, HIS L WINGTIP PASSED WITHIN 10 FT OF OUR COCKPIT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 371181: THE FO RADIOED A WARNING TO NO AVAIL AND THE CAPT FINALLY BACKED UP ABOUT 25 FT. THE OTHER ACFT WING MISSED OUR COCKPIT BY 10-15 FT.
