Narrative:

Runway 31 was under construction, ATIS advised not to taxi past runway threshold due to construction. My aircraft was 400 pounds below maximum gross weight for runway. I maneuvered to position my aircraft at the end of the runway to thus take full advantage of every bit of runway available. While maneuvering, ground advised me we were past the runway threshold. Note, old runway overrun markings were visible and I stayed upon them. We were well away from any workers on the runway, and at no point was anyone or my aircraft in danger.
