Narrative:
Location: dfw. Brakes released, cleared to push, agent motioned to open window. Told me of passenger situation at gate counter. She told me of passenger uttering pipe bomb threat when he was asked the security questions. When asked the second time he said it again. She asked what I wanted to do. I requested that his baggage be removed from cargo. He had not been in the aircraft so cabin search was not needed. Ramp personnel refused to remove bags. After much delay and discussion, a ramp supervisor volunteered to remove them. 3 bags were removed. We continued to dsm without further incident.
