Narrative:
Due to extreme heat in the control room (84 degrees) the sector 31 radar scope was malfunctioning (it caused the scope to blink) during our busiest period. The heat in area C has been an ongoing environmental problem for more than a yr.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR ALLEGES HIS RADAR SCOPE MALFUNCTIONED DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT IN THE CTL ROOM AT ZBW. RPTR SAYS THIS IS AN ONGOING ENVIRONMENTAL PROB.
Narrative: DUE TO EXTREME HEAT IN THE CTL ROOM (84 DEGS) THE SECTOR 31 RADAR SCOPE WAS MALFUNCTIONING (IT CAUSED THE SCOPE TO BLINK) DURING OUR BUSIEST PERIOD. THE HEAT IN AREA C HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ENVIRONMENTAL PROB FOR MORE THAN A YR.
