Narrative:

I was instructed to taxi south on taxiway south, make a left turn on taxiway B, make a right turn on taxiway a and hold short of taxiway C. My attention was briefly diverted by a radio transmission from another radio and, as a result, I taxied onto taxiway C. I was asked by the controller my location on the field, I told him I was on taxiway C and apologized for the error and stopped the aircraft. The controller told me to taxi to the active runway. My attention was divided between two tasks which caused the error. ATC instructions are of primary importance and must be complied with and all other radio traffic is irrelevant. There was no known conflict with other traffic.
