Narrative:
Our skyhawk had just landed on runway 24 at hya, our home base. The tower had asked us to expedite taxiing and exit at taxiway D as there was another aircraft on short final. We did. This taxiway is very short and is the one we use most often with our prevailing southwest wind. Usually after touchdown I tell the tower 'xyz is going to the east ramp,' and the response is usually 'next left, taxi east ramp.' landing on this runway and using taxiway D, I rarely talk to ground control, although technically I should. This day I didn't either, and simply taxied to our tiedown. In a few mins a truck from operations came over and advised us that we were being written up for a 'runway incursion.' I telephoned the tower and was told that a bonanza had to take evasive action on the ground. Why didn't I call ground control? Didn't I see the bonanza off to our right? The answer was no -- neither my passenger nor I saw anything. As for not talking to ground control, this was a bad habit which I just gave up as a result of this incident.

Title: SMA ACFT AFTER LNDG TAXIED TO TIE-DOWN WITHOUT CONTACTING GND CTLR. OPS VEHICLE NOTIFIED RPTR THAT HE WAS BEING WRITTEN UP FOR A RWY INCURSION BECAUSE A BONANZA HAD TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION ON THE GND.
Narrative: OUR SKYHAWK HAD JUST LANDED ON RWY 24 AT HYA, OUR HOME BASE. THE TWR HAD ASKED US TO EXPEDITE TAXIING AND EXIT AT TXWY D AS THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT ON SHORT FINAL. WE DID. THIS TXWY IS VERY SHORT AND IS THE ONE WE USE MOST OFTEN WITH OUR PREVAILING SW WIND. USUALLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN I TELL THE TWR 'XYZ IS GOING TO THE E RAMP,' AND THE RESPONSE IS USUALLY 'NEXT L, TAXI E RAMP.' LNDG ON THIS RWY AND USING TXWY D, I RARELY TALK TO GND CTL, ALTHOUGH TECHNICALLY I SHOULD. THIS DAY I DIDN'T EITHER, AND SIMPLY TAXIED TO OUR TIEDOWN. IN A FEW MINS A TRUCK FROM OPS CAME OVER AND ADVISED US THAT WE WERE BEING WRITTEN UP FOR A 'RWY INCURSION.' I TELEPHONED THE TWR AND WAS TOLD THAT A BONANZA HAD TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION ON THE GND. WHY DIDN'T I CALL GND CTL? DIDN'T I SEE THE BONANZA OFF TO OUR R? THE ANSWER WAS NO -- NEITHER MY PAX NOR I SAW ANYTHING. AS FOR NOT TALKING TO GND CTL, THIS WAS A BAD HABIT WHICH I JUST GAVE UP AS A RESULT OF THIS INCIDENT.
