Narrative:
The malibu on 10-15 mi long final (low, in the haze) did not report 2 mi final as requested by tower. We were cleared for touch and go on mid-field downwind. After carefully clearing our right, turning left base to final, the malibu appeared on our windshield (did not see us). (Mention this occurrence to the tower chief working that day. Reported at local time to him.)

Title: NMAC BTWN A C150 TURNING BASE LEG ONTO FINAL AND A PIPER MALIBU, PA46, STRAIGHT-IN ON FINAL. MALIBU HAD NOT RPTED A 2 MI FINAL AS REQUESTED BY TWR.
Narrative: THE MALIBU ON 10-15 MI LONG FINAL (LOW, IN THE HAZE) DID NOT RPT 2 MI FINAL AS REQUESTED BY TWR. WE WERE CLRED FOR TOUCH AND GO ON MID-FIELD DOWNWIND.
