Narrative:

On IFR flight plan at 16000 ft (MEA), was necessary to descend to 14500 ft for WX avoidance. Unable to cancel IFR due to lost communication #2 due to stuck microphone on frequency. Communication lost for approximately 10 mins. Maintained visual terrain separation and VFR until able to recontact ZLC (different frequency) and re- establish IFR. Since we descended below MEA (10000 ft), unlikely to conflict with other IFR traffic. No emergency, no evasive action. Communication re-established uneventfully.
