Narrative:

We were at 11000 ft and experiencing moderate chop. Advised ord approach that we were slowing to 280 KTS due to chop. When we were finally cleared to lower altitude, I began an immediate descent to get out of the moderate chop and shot right through 10000 ft without slowing to 250 KTS. I became fixated on the chop problem and forgot to make the speed reduction.
