Narrative:
While acting as PIC on air carrier flight XXX operating from dew to sux we had a bird strike the nose area and windshield on the captain's side of the aircraft. Upon inspection after landing, we found minor damage to the aircraft. The aircraft was inspected and signed off by a certified mechanic as safe for ferry flight. We then ferried the aircraft to a maintenance base for repairs.
