Narrative:
After landing on runway 22 at ord I was taxiing under direction of ground. I taxied past an air carrier X bus. When I was almost past the end of the stopped bus it moved ahead and to the right causing the left rear of the bus to swing toward my plane and strike the end of the left wing. The ground controller had asked whether I had ever been at O'hare before. When he learned that I had not he told me 'don't worry, I'll be watching you.' he had directed me from taxiway P to taxiway a to taxiway A18 to taxiway D to FBO. At taxiway A18 he told me to stop for two air carrier X planes which I did. He said proceed to taxiway D and turn left which I did. Apparently I mistook a roadway in front of me which went to taxiway D for taxiway A18 which went to my right and then curved back to the left to taxiway D. I was on the roadway passing the bus when it swung its left rear around and hit my airplane. The markings and layout for taxiway A18 was very confusing. The controller took his eyes off me and the bus driver should not have moved until it was safe to do so.

Title: PLT OF A C172 FAILED TO FOLLOW THE TWR GND CTLR'S TAXI INSTRUCTIONS RESULTING IN AN ACR BUS COLLIDING WITH THE WING OF HIS ACFT WHEN IT TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE ROAD ON WHICH THE RPTR HAD MISTAKEN FOR THE TXWY. WINGTIP DAMAGE ONLY.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 22 AT ORD I WAS TAXIING UNDER DIRECTION OF GND. I TAXIED PAST AN ACR X BUS. WHEN I WAS ALMOST PAST THE END OF THE STOPPED BUS IT MOVED AHEAD AND TO THE R CAUSING THE L REAR OF THE BUS TO SWING TOWARD MY PLANE AND STRIKE THE END OF THE L WING. THE GND CTLR HAD ASKED WHETHER I HAD EVER BEEN AT O'HARE BEFORE. WHEN HE LEARNED THAT I HAD NOT HE TOLD ME 'DON'T WORRY, I'LL BE WATCHING YOU.' HE HAD DIRECTED ME FROM TXWY P TO TXWY A TO TXWY A18 TO TXWY D TO FBO. AT TXWY A18 HE TOLD ME TO STOP FOR TWO ACR X PLANES WHICH I DID. HE SAID PROCEED TO TXWY D AND TURN L WHICH I DID. APPARENTLY I MISTOOK A ROADWAY IN FRONT OF ME WHICH WENT TO TXWY D FOR TXWY A18 WHICH WENT TO MY R AND THEN CURVED BACK TO THE L TO TXWY D. I WAS ON THE ROADWAY PASSING THE BUS WHEN IT SWUNG ITS L REAR AROUND AND HIT MY AIRPLANE. THE MARKINGS AND LAYOUT FOR TXWY A18 WAS VERY CONFUSING. THE CTLR TOOK HIS EYES OFF ME AND THE BUS DRIVER SHOULD NOT HAVE MOVED UNTIL IT WAS SAFE TO DO SO.
