Narrative:
While with a student I called islip approach (final destination) and told them of my bearing and range. They told me to contact ny approach control. Ny approach told me to contact islip. By this time I wasn't paying attention and violated farmingdale's airspace. I then contacted islip approach. Many controllers in this area are working at once. It is very hard to know who to contact on initial contact.

Title: C172 INSTRUCTOR PLT ALLOWS HIS ACFT TO PENETRATE THE CLASS D OF FRG WHILE ATTEMPTING CONTACT WITH THE CTLING FACILITY FOR ISP, NY, HIS DEST ARPT.
Narrative: WHILE WITH A STUDENT I CALLED ISLIP APCH (FINAL DEST) AND TOLD THEM OF MY BEARING AND RANGE. THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT NY APCH CTL. NY APCH TOLD ME TO CONTACT ISLIP. BY THIS TIME I WASN'T PAYING ATTN AND VIOLATED FARMINGDALE'S AIRSPACE. I THEN CONTACTED ISLIP APCH. MANY CTLRS IN THIS AREA ARE WORKING AT ONCE. IT IS VERY HARD TO KNOW WHO TO CONTACT ON INITIAL CONTACT.
